Arma 2 and Operation Arrowhead Maps have been successfully ported to Arma 3.

As the Arma community could already see, I've been working for some time on a mod which aims to port Arma 2 and Operation Arrowhead maps to Arma 3. So I contacted the developers in order to receive their permission. While I was working, I received many private messages in which you were asking me to release the mod ASAP. I decided to perform some close beta tests whose results are satisfying. Therefore, the next step will be the public test release, I want to stress that it's still the TEST phase and some problems may still appear. I made sure that there are no bugs or crashes during launching or playing the game.

- .kju for help with the mod creation and sharing the AiA configs.
- Fabio for great lighting configuration
- Bohemia Interactive
- Awesome community support

Know issues:
- Few mats problem - Will be fixed soon
- Few "black" textures

Are the ports just the maps as they are in basic format or has he done any work to them in regards to enterable buildings, or destructible buildings in the Russian maps etc?

I'm thinking Nato for Takistan (colour is more sandy, desert), AAF for Cherno (green pixel camo)

Biggest issue I've found so far is that the rivers and lakes are blood red from a distance and swimming in them you act like you are in freefall.
Both AiA and this have that problem. Reshmaan doesn't in AiA so I wonder what is different.

EDIT: Spoken to kju about it, the pond shaders in are buggy in Arma 3. kju is currently looking at replacing them. If either AiA or A3MP replace the shaders the other would be soon to follow.

I am not getting any errors on this mod. Its epic.
It also enables the use of all the other A2 custom maps which is great
