OCB Drops BC2

OCB has tried to make something out of BC2, a ladder and dedicated servers.   But, we feel that we are flogging a head horse.  

The game is little more than a console port and the community are the worst I've seen in 14 years of online gaming.   Our ladder did have some response but again, not the level of response we would have liked.  It's the same thing, never really changes and it got real boring, real fast and not a game that involves any sort of tactics, it's a run and gun shooter.

All 3 Platoon members are invited to stay on with us to take up Arma 2, or other worthy games as they come into being.  We are keeping a keen eye on Call of Duty Black Ops, the new Medal of Honour and of course, Battlefield 3. 

After testing tonight we have put our ACE Mod server online. You will require the following addons.

1. CBA, ACE, and ACEX ( Download from Yoma's Addon Sync http://dev-heaven.net/projects/yoma-addonsync2009/files )

Note aircraft will not be unlocked for general use. They will ONLY be unlocked when required based on current objectives of the ground force commander in game at the time. Aircraft are also not to be used for personal taxi services to the battlefield. And a final reminder if you wish to fly you must also be connected to our team speak 3 server. 

We are constantly seeing people trying to play on Domination only to get crashed to desktop when accessing the ammo box. You MUST run the beta patches as these fix this BI issue with the ammo box. You can get the current beta from http://www.qbasix.com/ARMA2/betafiles/
