ARMA II Qualifications
There was a plan in place to hold training courses for OCB ARMA II division members to qualify them in the basic skills required in different roles, vehicles, aircraft and equipment; however I think this may be an exercise in having people suck eggs.
Rather than having training courses to train in different aspects of ARMA combat, they will be “granted” the qualifications when they have demonstrated the skills on the battlefield. Doing it this way doesn’t make experienced members feel like they are being treated like newbs, and saves me a LOT of time in development and delivery of training.
There will however be section and group training to hone fighting skills and team work. Infantry will train in fighting as a section, contact drills and basic infantry tactics, armoured sections will practice moving in formation, gunnery and contact drills and air support elements will train in all aspects of combat flying.

More troops have enlisted into our unit. Please welcome, CALL OF DUTY DIVISION Great to have these guys on board with us, but we need MORE!!! The Arma II division needs more members to make up the numbers for large scale combat engagements, and to provide sufficient numbers to cover our efforts in the OGN Arma Ladder. Call of Duty Division is also needing more members. MW2 is fast approaching and we aim to have two platoons of eight active COD members to be involved. If you are a member of the OCB Arma II Division, and you have supplied your player ID number, you have been registered to play in the OGN Arma II Ladder. I suggest you check out the rules and game format pages to familiarise yourself with the comp conditions. It appears as though this comp will kick off later this month so please check out the info. GooseNeck has put up and ARMA II server for us. It's hosted at 60.240.37.66 and is viewable in the normal in game server browser. It's going to be used mainly for training with dates and times shortly to be posted for infantry, armour, air, and general support training. I'd like to get as many members on the server at one time as we can muster to test it's capacity. It is hosted on a fast home internet connection, so badnwidth is somewhat limited. Thanks Goose for setting this up for us.

Lads, VERY IMPORTANT!! If you are an ARMA II player, you MUST provide me with your PLAYER ID NUMBER ASAP!! We are registered for the OGN ARMA II ladder but currently we have insufficient players registered for it. We have new members that have come on board for arma 2 such as Scorch, Bad Karma, SlipKnot and Siafu, but I have no player ID numbers. Please get them to me ASAP!
