Last Updated (Friday, 23 July 2010 00:21) JLTCJLTC - Junior Leader Training Centre CoursesWe have discussed training requirements and ongoing training for some time. We are now putting into place basic and junior NCO (LCPL and CPL) training that encompasses some basic skills and teaches some new ones. The training will not be complicated and nothing revolutionary, it's just a refresher on the basics, establishing those basic skills to further solidify our technical and practical skills. Iceman, although a member for only a short time, is a current infantry soldier (reserve) and he is happy to plan, conduct and administer this training. Iceman is now appointed as a CPL for this purpose. Please provide him with every assistance to make this a success. Arrow Head Server UP!Operation Arrowhead Server - Good to Go.It took a while, thanks to BIS and the way they had setup OA, but it's finally up and running. The server is 32 slots, public and running the latest DOM OA missions. BIG thankyou goes to Tromac and Patrick from Hypernia who went through a lot of back and forth communcation to get this up and running on a dedicated remote server as it should. So, it goes without saying, let's get in there play as we do and make the OCB OA server the most active OA server there is! Keep in mind that if you do NOT have Arma 2, and you install Arrowhead, you will NOT be able to play in this server. You must have BOTH. For those who are not aware of how to find the server, just enter OCB into your search filter. Or IP 204.14.173.52 : 2312 Of course, our regular ARMA II ACE server is also still available for those who want to use it, (or those that must because they are too poor to buy OA - like me). We are already making missions and addons for OA, and we'll keep members informed via the forums and news announcements here. Last Updated (Sunday, 04 July 2010 12:38) BC2 Hardcore LadderOCB Announces BC2 Hardcore Ladder!\ OCB has been involved in the CyberGamer BC2 Open ladder now for a few weeks and although we are interested in competitive play against other teams, the softcore mode of the matches, we all think, is a pathetic joke. Teams get into the game, all join as medic, armour up, drop med packs everywhere and then camp you in your spawn. The fact you need to use an entire magazine on them to drop them is pathetic, so we decided to drop from this ladder and start our own. We are pleased to release the BC2 Hardcore Ladder site HERE. There is also a link to it at the top of this page. The ladder is open for signups, and teams can play Conquest or Rush in ladder matches (their choice), all matches are in HARDCORE mode, there is a server for matches, the site has its own ladder forums etc. Get your rego done, create a team and get into it!
