Thanks to the guys for helping test the ambient patrols last night. I'm sorry for the PTSD but that was a lot of fun :D Total numbers of AI ~6400 with constant presence of between 38-89 at any one time.

Love your work eighty. How's the virtually cached AI working out? I noticed we had some performance issues the last couple of times we played PO3, I think it was due to the ambient patrols when we were flying around unwittingly making them spawn all over the map.

Had a crack at the PO3 configuration stuff and I have to say EightySix you have done an excellent job on the streamlining of it.

The single Patrol_Ops_3_Configuration is a great improvement over Patrol Ops and once again I have to say well done.

I jumped on the OCB Custom Mods Server today to play some Patrol Ops but there were no active tasks (one was completed and another was failed). Is there a way to request a new task?

I jumped on the OCB Custom Mods Server today to play some Patrol Ops but there were no active tasks (one was completed and another was failed). Is there a way to request a new task?


May have been a bug but I'll leave that to the expert to confirm.

The builds on the custom mods are experimental, you can open up squad mod and request a new mission though.

Thanks Davo. I can see a "Skip Mission" option in the squad mod but it is greyed out. Is there something else I should be doing?

You need to be in the squad leader role of the mission (HQ team) or logged in as Admin as far as I know.
